I just saw some homers a couple weeks ago by the minor league Columbus Clippers and am hoping to see the Nationals here this summer. There’s just something very fun about summer and baseball; you’re a good mom, Marjorie. :) Well, growing up, I sang a third version of our climber … the Itsy Bitsy Spider. What a sweet reminder for us all to persevere … easier learned growing up and important throughout life. I agree with gmack; I’m so thankful for Jesus bringing us all home with his winning justice, love, mercy, and forgiveness.

Hope you all have a wonderful Fourth, celebrating (with lots of fireworks!) and giving thanks for the freedoms the Lord Jesus has made possible for all who come to Him to be His people, as well as with the justice and protection He inspires through our nation’s leaders and military defenders. Let’s pray for them all to hear His voice, respond to His call, and persevere in truth … and that He will raise up more godly leaders this year to serve Him.
